If you are a regular reader of this blog you know, by now, that my friend Janine is obsessed with Bon Jovi. It's almost to the point where I'm afraid to write anything about Bon Jovi in a negative light because she would basically declare Jihad on our friendship. Anyway, Bon Jovi and Mariah Carey (randomly together) were at the VH1 Save the Music event in NYC late last week. I hope Mariah's "crazy" doesn't rub off on Bon Jovi...for Janine's sake. In other news...

Bon Jovi for Janine, Because I Said So

It's usually a quiet day around here at IBBB on a Friday and since Idol is "giving back" I figured I'd give back too, but not with money (that's just crazy talk). I'll be giving back to my friend, and more than likely future wife, Janine who is probably the biggest Bon Jovi fan there is and she's proud to admit that. So, here you go Janine, enjoy these pictures of Bon Jovi at the "2008 ASCAP 'I Create Music' Expo" that was held at the Renaissance Hotel in LA yesterday. I'm not really sure what any of that is about, but I found these pictures so I thought I'd share.

Richie Sambora is back in action after his DUI arrest. Bon Jovi performed this past Wednesday in downtown LA where Jon Bon Jovi stopped the concert halfway through to call Richie his dear friend while the crowd was screaming. After that Richie came out onto the stage and sang the lead on "I'll Be There For You." Everyone deserves a second chance.

See how nice I was, Janine? Can any IBBB fans out there hook up Janine with anything Bon Jovi related? Backstage passes to a concert? Autographed photos? Sky is the limit and if IBBB can sell out then so can Janine. Hook this sick bitch up! She's hot...she'll probably put out. Just saying.

Bon Jovi and Wife Same Person?

Know how Michael Jackson and LaToya Jackson are actually the same person? They are. Well I've been searching for the white version of that for years. 3 to be exact. And, well, I think I may have found it. Jon Bon Jovi and his wife, Dorothea, just finished eating at the Waverly Inn in NYC the other night when the paparazzi descended from helicopters to take their pictures....I assume. Anyjovi, I have 2 questions. (1) Where in the hell is the Waverly Inn and how can I get there as it seems like only celebrities get to go. (2) Who the hell is Bon Jovi's wife and why haven't I seen her before? I know a nice girl from Boston who would trade places with Dorothea in a second and not just because she's a home-wrecking-whore, but because she's really into Bon Jovi and she cares about the community (I through that in there for good measure). Dorothea sounds like a nuns name and she's looking a little rough around the edges and by edges I mean face. It's like looking at Bon Jovi with a wig on...and a mean face. Just sayin.

Bon Jovi will be wrapping up their tour here in NYC at Madison Square Garden on July 14th and July 15th so, uh, if you have tickets you should totally go to that. I have no idea where I'm going with this. God bless.

Bon Jovi Hits the Hamptons

Bon Jovi, his wife, and his kids were enjoying a little downtime in the Hamptons this past weekend, just about a month since his tour ended. While there, BJ attended the Tony Hawk Foundation Annual Activision Benefit. I don't know what any of the means and I'm too lazy to Google it, but if it's a benefit it must be a good thing.

Is it just me or is it strange to see Bon Jovi in regular people clothes? I feel like any time you see him he's in his rocker gear. I guess I just assumed he'd be wearing cowboy boots instead of flip-flops while at the Hamptons. I'm sure this picture will end up in Us Weekly under the title: "Celebrities: They're Just Like Us!"

Jon Bon Jovi Helps People

Jon Bon Jovi and his wife, Dorethea, are wicked good helpers and stuff. They were both at the "Music for Mercy Corps Hamptons Benefit for Darfur" in the Hamptons over the weekend. Wait, Darfur is a real place? I always thought it was like some location in one of those irritating Harry Potter books or like the North Pole or something?! I'm joking. Darfur is real and those people desperately need our help (I think).

Anyway, a bunch of celebrities and non celebrities were at the charity event to show their support as well, like Jill Zarin from The Real Housewives of New York City, Sarah Silverman, Chef Rocco DiSpirito, and, um, that's about it. Wow, that's pitiful. You know Bon Jovi totally donated the most then.

Bon Jovi's Lawsuit Can Pay Half of the Bailout

According to the sick bastards over at TMZ.com Bon Jovi is being sued for $400 BILLION by a Boston band called, "The Chelsea City Council" for allegedly taking part of their lyrics during the 2004 John Kerry campaign and using them in the song, "I Love This Town."

Seriously this is the best story of the day for me for many reasons. If you're a reader of IBBB, you know that my friend Janine is the biggest Bon Jovi fan. Literally, it's at an unhealthy level....but no judgement. The fact that Janine is not only from Boston, but the actual city of Chelsea is priceless. I'm pretty sure this "band" called The Chelsea City Council is really just Janine and her friends.
