Leighton Meester: ‘I Don’t See The Point In Dating’

 

Unlike her more date-happy co-stars — Blake Lively and Penn Badgley, Jessica Szohr and Ed Westwick — Leighton Meester isn’t itching to be in relationship, in fact she abhors it. She tells the January issue of Allure:
“I don’t see the point in dating. I hate it. It’s wonderful to be in love. And it’s definitely wonderful to cuddle and have sex and get to experience life with somebody. But it’s okay if you don’t find him and you’re 24. You can find it someday.”
This is also one Hollywood actor who you won’t find stumbling out of a nightclub at 4 am or arrested with illegal goodies in her purse.
“Now I don’t want to do anything that’s unhealthy for me. I mean drinking is one thing, over-drinking is another. another. And drugs are something I don’t tolerate at all. You’d be surprised how many people do it. If you go out and you’re living the nightlife scene, that’s what people do.”
No sex, dating, drugs or binge drinking for Leighton Meester. Which leads one to wonder: does this she get her kicks?
